Re: Peerguardian stops working but seems to work.

Thanks, BlueIce, for the explanation of why we don't recommend running PG2 and Protowall together.

There can be conflicts running the two together, so, again, PL does NOT recommend that members do...

Re: Peerguardian stops working but seems to work.

We, at Phoenix Labs, don't recommend running PG2 and Protowall together.

Plus, Protowall isn't compatible w/Vista/Windows 7 (if you are running either of those).

Re: Has ALL blocking stoped?

Your first problem is that you have posted in the Technical Support Forum for PG2 (Windows).

Try finding the correct forum for PG OSX and repost your question.

Thanks,

Re: Is it better to keep PG on all the time, NOT only during p2p??

This thread is about PG OSX and NOT PG2! Therefore, the comments highlighted in RED don't have anything to do with this thread or PG OSX!!

Please watch what/where you post in the future.

Thanks,

I have taken this sentence out of that thread. It referred to backup lists (torrents) provided by Snowman at Bluetack.

They took these down for security reasons some months ago.

Re: How do I know if I'm protected

Hi, The_Nameless,

Yes, you should be using PG2 RC 1 Test 2 since you are running Vista.

This version of PG2 shouldn't have a problem w/McAfee software. PG2 beta 6b/c are incompatible w/McAfee.
