Re: Megashares = Mediasentry

Re: New to this whole thing

I'm guessing you're using Windows, so the steps goes as follows:

Hit Start -> Run
Type cmd, and hit enter.
ping http://cnn.com

Re: Tracked by WHTV and a college?

Depends on where you're connecting out of. If at school, STOP. You really shouldn't be connecting at school for frostwire/torrents anyways. As for WHTV, that is probably them sweeping frostwire for...

I've heard that you can download it, but only if you are saying that it's going to be a backup or something. Because discs can still get scratched and ruined, as long as you truely own it, you should...

Re: pg2 opeans but wont. . .

I've had this problem with XP SP3. The best solution I've found so far is to restart, and try again, since the Recover program wont disable it, just mark it for removal. Other than that, I havent...

Re: PG2 won't load; won't recover.

I've had this happen several times, still dont know why. The best solution if your really want it to be working is to restart, and hope it starts up. Other than that, I dont know why it would be...

converting ipfilter.dat

Is there any fast way of converting the ipfilter.dat for utorrent? Or would I have to manually strip down the ip ranges and clear out whatever is before the colon in each line.

torrents through school firewalls

I'm using utorrent and on my college's dorm wired connection. However, it seems that they have blocked all ports (theyre all in stealth, according to https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2)

The best...

Re: PeerGuadian 2 for Windows Vista beta released

I would suggest turning off Windows Defender all together, as it doesnt actually do much in the first place besides piss you off with warnings every other day.

Just go to Start -> Run, then type in...

Re: PeerGuadian 2 for Windows Vista beta released

Are there any known conflicts with any of Lenovo's updates?

Cause even though I hid the KB932596 update for Vista, I had to update for Lenovo (A Thinkpad T60), and I got the same exact problem,...

Re: PeerGuadian 2 for Windows Vista beta released

Same thing for me.

This is really annoying. I did several restores, and then just gave up and did a complete format and clean install. And I still get it?!

Something is wrong with vista :(
