Re: Hey

Crappy week of classes. Circuits from hell, binary sucks, and screw being stuck on an island and having to build NAND3 logic gates from AND gates and inverters. It's friday and I'm drunk!

Re: Xp Lock Ups

Reduce the number of services running, uninstall crappy or useless programs, and get rid of virtual memory.

Re: Xp Lock Ups

I recognize Avast and some of the other Windows processes, but I am unfamiliar with the rest of them. 50 seems like a lot of processes to me, I try and keep mine between 30 and 40. Many processes...

Re: Does an ISP block/filter certain websites?

Tor, I'll have to try out and see. It seems to me that I am a little paranoid. It seems that some of the sites I could no longer get to may actually be down for one reason or another (Bluetack for...

Re: Xp Lock Ups

CPU usage is 50%?? Something seems wrong. A new windows XP OS shouldn't be that processor intensive newly installed. It should only have processes in the low 20's. Is that normal or only when gaming,...

Re: Does an ISP block/filter certain websites?

Thanks Fox. I never ran into this before, but I also was directly paying the ISP. I guess that makes a difference.

Re: Error Contacting URL

I can't connect to Bluetack either. I got some kind of SQL error a couple minutes ago. This started yesterday for me when Firefox couldn't connect to page. I can't update Bluetacks Hosts manager. I...

Does an ISP block/filter certain websites?

I recently moved into an apartment which is very similar to a dorm, except that it is owned by a private company. I find that I can no longer go to certain websites, such as: newnova.org or...

Re: Gulppppp!!!

I had a similar thing happen to me. I perm-allowed a site but didn't notice that when PG finished generating I was suddenly blocking 0 ips. I was also torrenting at the time. I caught it about 20...

Re: What is your favorite caffeinated drink?

I found some [MDX] at a BP gas station I stopped at yesterday morning while I was moving. It was pretty good.

Re: how far will u do to someone u hate

I really try not to get revenge on someone for hurting me even though I may feel different. From my own experience getting even is a hollow victory. I know it sounds so good to get some one back for...

Re: JonBenet Ramsay murder - suspect arrested

I saw the alleged murderer's picture on yahoo news and he looked very "disturbed." He had that pedophile look, which was why he was in Thailand. With a little bit of money over there you can have...

Re: What is your favorite caffeinated drink?

Rockstar is pretty good, but it makes your piss ultra-radioactive (well, it had that effect on me). I thought that there was somthing wrong with me. lol.

I'm pretty sure your screwed if you can't find the original CD. I know of a WGAfix for windows XP, and it also fixes that annoying reminder. I'm a little paranoid and I don't wish to draw any...

Re: Court Cases Clarification Based On IP Address!

Interesting news. I think congress needs to modernize the copyright laws finally bringing them into the 21st century. This is good that courts haven't set a presendence of a person being an IP...

Re: Power supply problem?

It's been about two weeks since I replaced by power supply. My new power supply (Rosewill RP550V2-D-SL 550W) is working like a charm. I no longer have those annoying NV Sentinel pop-ups. It wasn't a...

Re: What is your favorite caffeinated drink?

Re: Defragging Software.

I tried a resident defrag program, once, just to see what it did. What a train wreck and a resource hog. All it did was continously move files. It was never satisfied. I guess they may be useful if...
