if you don't like avast there are other free alternatives, just ask...a good one i use is AVG...I use AVG on my desktop and avast on my laptop...both work very well so i don't see you having many...

Anyone having trouble with the link for downloading this? I have been trying to get the vista version on my new computer and it seems to start, download a while, then freeze.

Vista is running well for me/has been since install. My desktop is in need of an upgrade, yet it still runs Vista flawlessly. (p4 w/ht, 2GB ram, ati radeon x600)
