ZoneAlarm has been known to conflict with PG2 in the past. Just use the Windows Firewall especially since you already have a firewall router. That should be plenty!

why not just change the pg2 setting and let it enable at startup, it shouldn't slow you down a whole lot or anything and is pretty quick as far as list updates and such!

Have had PG2 for over a year and a half now and have never had any problems. The other night I fell asleep while downloading and when I woke up about three hours later, there was an error message...

Avast uses real time protection and is much better than AVG. It has a p2p scanner as well for just such a thing!

There are companies that report to the RIAA that host files though. Would it not be possible for you to download from them and then get reported? I feel much safer blocking both!

Rest easy, you are fine. Those IP's are being blocked which means PG2 is doing its job and not allowing them to connect to your computer.
