Mind elaborating? :)

Point out the features of each, etc?

hey r00ted, sure

there is a bit of description if you go there on each clients own page.

however here is a quick one:

klt k++ and klite 2.4.4 are based and updates of klite 2.4.3.
K-lite2.7Rc buils is based on the new kazaa 2.7 and has a couple of more options like multiple search and etc.

other then that i recommend reading the discription on thier own page because there is gonna be too much for me to post.

Its also good to point out well lots of work is being done on the various Fast Track clients, still the biggest problem that faces the network its the extreme numbers of fake files that are spread through it, and that it is also one of the most targeted networks.

atually the only work with klite that is begin done is with K-Lite2.7Rc, in the k++ version, nothing can be changed in teh client itself.

as for fakes, just use verified sites.

if you use the klite search you are screwed.

Red face Re: fasttrack clients

I used to be a huge fan of the old KazaaLite K++ back in 2004, but then i had no computer... i just got one, surfed the web, downloaded KLT K++... and the search browser is not working??? I tried to find answers but everything was from 2005?? Did something happen that i was not aware of and does any of the freeware programs work anymore? Do i HAVE to use limewire or Bearshare?

Thank You

Hi Dj_AnThRaTiK,

Weren't we all fans of Fast Track back in the early 2000's!

Things have changed since then. The Fast Track apps, like Kazaa have fallen out of favor since the advent of Bit Torrent. So, I don't know if there is development still going on with that.

I did find this on Wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kazaa
Kazaa

And, if you are interested in Bit Torrent apps, here is Wikipedia's Comparison Chart for them:

BitTorrent client

Just remember that the bad corps are watching Bit Torrent Clients very closely for illegal file sharing just like the Fast Tract Clients were watched before the advent of Bit Torrent.

Hopefully, you use PG2 for your protection while file sharing.
