Mobloquer Fatal Error
Hello I recently installed moblock, mobloquer and blockcontrol via the deb packages for Ubuntu Jaunty x86. The initial set up went fine and mobloquer ran the first time. However after restarting Ubuntu mobloquer will not start up.
I receive this fatal error:
Code:
** Fatal: ASSERT failure in QVector<T>::insert: "index out of range", file /usr/include/qt4/QtCore/qvector.h, line 339
I did not update any packages after installing moblock deb packages.
Thanks in Advance

Re: Mobloquer Fatal Error
I'll hint the mobloquer developer to this. Unfortunately you are not the first to experience this problem.
I haven't found a solution for this yet and can't reproduce it here.

Re: Mobloquer Fatal Error
I have Mobloquer 0.6-svn200908171~hardy~jaunty (from Synaptic). If i write in bash moblouqer and enter i receive this:
Code:
** Fatal: ASSERT failure in QVector<T>::insert: "index out of range", file /usr/include/qt4/QtCore/qvector.h, line 339
Aborted
before this i added new blocklist. I click to add, and into adress bar i pasted thisone blocklist url.
Code:
http://list.iblocklist.com/?list=bt_level1
then i click on add (may be ok - just confirm) and after that i confirm dialogue with "BlockList blabla not seem to be valid" or somethig like this. Mobloquer feld down and after this mobloquer is not possible to start again.
Sorry for my english. I hope that this description will be helpful.
//Edited:
Repair in my case was in delete wrong list from config (/etc/blockcontrol/blocklists.list)

Re: Mobloquer Fatal Error
Hmm, you have the current version, which should have fixed that problem. So I canīt give any other advice, than to do a clean reinstall of mobloquer (all settings like blocklists and whitelistings belong to the package "blockcontrol", so you do not have to worry to loose them):
Code:
sudo aptitude purge mobloquer
sudo aptitude install mobloquer
Iīll notify the developer. But since we have started a new project (PeerGuardian Linux, based on nfblock, but no GUI ready yet), I donīt know whether he will fix this old application.

Re: Mobloquer Fatal Error
I try remove last new entry from blocklist and its now working fine. But i cant understand how it works. If
Code:
http://list.iblocklist.com/?list=bt_level1
is commented above of file and i add same line at bottom of list, it causes this error.
I suggest some solution, that mark not used list as "not used" instead of comment out.
This was first install, so if i reinstall it and configs was stay at same place, i received same err. :)
