I was watching a recently downloaded film lastnight, when I noticed that XO Communications was trying to scan my ports literally every second. It has been going on for about 12 hours now, and the source IP keeps changing slightly, however it is still being blocked.

I have recently become quite worried about these blocks, and I have deleted the film I downloaded, and the film that I was downloading at the time, and quit UTorrent. However, the IP scans keep coming.

I am not really an expert on this, so I don't know what ports they are trying to scan etc, so if you need more information, do not hesitate to explain to me how I can obtain it.

If someone could shed some light on the matter, I would be very grateful.

if so maybe just one of them trying to get updates.

Ah, yes, I am using Avanquest as a matter of fact.

In that case, should I disable the peer guardian and allow the update to commence?
