well it won't work. only a vpn server will work ,on p2p software, without configuration.
a good one that i found http://microvpn.com it's a vpn server with a self changing proxy ip address. so it basically switches multiple ip addresses at every 10 minutes.
it also has a preconfigured browser already set up with the proxy settings, that you can download from their page.
It's also preatty cheap and i found that i can use it to access my work computer from home if i leave it connected at work.

here;s the link again http://microvpn.com

First of all, the best 'things' tend to be free; greenpeace & wikipedia are examples of non-profit excellence, who's agenda is unselfishly motivated, and, especially with respect to the latter, exceed even paid-for competition (the prestigious Nature journal tested encyclopedia accuracy on Wiki vs Britannica, Wiki won, Britannica laid a suit, it was thrown out) So based on this logic, and common sence;--> Dont pay for internet privacy, its a step in the wrong direction, why pay for software in an effort to keep other software and multimedia free, its a hypocrisy.

Secondly, after hours of searching through proxy lists(with specifically designed-for 'paid' software), sifting out the elite ones, and utilising them on another specifically designed-for paid software and foxy-proxy(which is great), i did a 'who-is domain' search on the ones that were the most effective and reliable, which i whittled down to 2 or 3. 1 was from the dominican republic, the other Canada, what i found was they were BOTH, INTERNET ABUSE TEAM's. That is the people who are most likely looking for us, for the proxy leechers, for the ip hiders, from the copyright abusers. Althought our biggest worry it would seem is the dummy-corp think-tank's that dreamworks and microsoft employ to hunt us down, the legitimacy of said lists was put into immediate degredation.

Sorry about that, the main point i was trying to make is, for me, to stay fresh i use

Browser
a)download 'foxyproxy'
b)use either TOR(dubious) or JAP(better but not perfect), both are slow, but that is because your line of transmission is bouncing around anonymous users worldwide.

P2P
a)download peerguardian2 which we all obviously have, and the rgc-2 loader, run as admin.
b)use utorrent, or something lite and opensource, utorrent is coming under criticism lately, on this forum anyway, but i have yet to hear of a solid alternative.

again you are still at risk, these are precautions that lower your probability of getting caught, as long as we live under the capitalistic American empire, corporations will continue the witchhunt, the internet has had detrimental effects on the music industry, and microsoft and dreamworks are not keen for a pattern to emerge. i cant believe wiki is still free. my executive argument==>

USE JAP; ITS FREE AND DESIGNED BY NONPROFIT FOR SOCIAL GAIN BY EXPERTS (Several universities mainly in Germany; project)

WEBSITES
utorrent.com
TOR - www.torproject.org
JAP - https://www.jondos.de/en/
torrent search- scrapetorrent.com & pizzatorrent.com

what would someone on here recommend for P2P for a vista 64 user. a full version of PG2 is not out yet and i don't personally trust a beta, yea they are nice but still a beta is a beta it still has defects and errors. i dont want to be working on something and have PG2 beta go down that could be ... bad...
