Ok quick question. I've used XSC on an older computer a while ago and it did fine. But now I'm on Vista and its acting weird. I know that its not "supported" on Vista yet.Any ways Wen I try to install it comes up saying it is trying to install Office 2007 Beta which I already have installed. after i click cancel it keeps trying to install like 3 times. then finally it says "Run-time Error:339 component 'TABCTL32.OCX' or one of its dependences not correctly regestured: a file is missing or invalid. Why does it try to install Office?

it also appears that the version of winsock that its networking features are looking for is outdated for XP - I couldnt even get it to run.. Either that or possibly there was an OCX/DLL that needed to be registered for it to work originally...

Im still working with Fox on hopefully getting the source to this project to resurrect it..

Fox have you checked with Method to see if he has the source code? He was the one developing it so he probably has a copy backed up somewhere or something. I've been trying too google to see if I could find some site that might have XS source still downloadable from way back when but no luck
