You guys are welcome. This is just a temporary fix until Bluetack is back up. They are working on it! :)

Hi, I am one of the people who hunts IPs over at the Bluetack forums. Since I can no longer connect to their database to submit new ranges, I thought I would post a few of my findings here so people can add them to their lists, as these are an immediate threat and actively involved in anti-p2p activity:

Trident Mediaguard:130.117.41.0-130.117.41.255
Trident Mediguard Nantes:82.138.70.128-82.138.70.191
Trident Mediguard Nantes:82.138.81.0-82.138.81.255

I am getting tons of hits from these guys on multiple torrents on Filemp3, and I'm sure it isn't isolated to that site.

Good luck

Ok, im confused. Where are we getting these ranges from? Bluetack or putting test.blocklist.org lists into a .txt file?

I can confirm at least that range cycl0n3. This week a couple of torrents I downloaded were "infected" with peers on that range leeching all the bandwith from the seeds.

To Fox and others: Thanks for this quick response.

Update:

It seems that the blocklists from Bluetack are updating intermittently now.

Some members have reported that they can update from them, some (like me) still can't. It does appear that bluetack's forums are still unavailable atm.

If your lists ARE NOT updating, please wait awhile between attempts to update your lists! If BT's severs are just coming back online, we don't want to overload them.
