Default So about this uTorrent thing....

I have like the latest uTorrent and i was using uTorrent for a while, i was reading the forums and it said some uTorrent problem. Does this mean that its pointless to use PeerGuardian2 when using uTorrent?

If thats the case, what other torrent programs should i use? Azures is good but, i have a Nvidia 7600GT video card and when ever i use Azureus my video card fan goes on and stays on unil i shutdown Azureus (i hate this because my fan can get loud at times and its annoying when it stays on for long periods of time)

I have no Idea what is happening wiht your Video Cards fan, maybe you can explain again?

Your Video card fan should be on all the Time, You can use Riva Tuner to control its speed. The 7600GT's fan isnt that load in my opinion.

See, when ever i playing games or what ever, my fan gets louder and usually it stays that way during gameplay, When playing games this does not bother me, cause i dont hear it much due to the game sounds.

But when using a torrent program i am not playing games, i might be studying, or sleeping and the fan is loud for Azureus. Now this is what i hate.

Maybe Azureus is using a lot of system resources, increasing your case temp thus making your gpu fan kick in.

The GPU is positioned below the CPU, it is even separted by the PCB of the Graphics card, so you could say they have 2 totally different thermal areas. I would not think this would be the issue, the CPU heat wouldnt flow down to the graphics card area, it would flow up and be sucked and pushed out by the power supply fan.

Are you sure it is your graphics cards fan? It could be your CPU fan if it is bothering you that much.

Some NVIDIA cards have separate 2d/3d clock and fan speeds.

Apparently Azureus is running something in 3d, which ultimately triggers 3d fan speed.
