we should probably note that this is a beta for testing
users should report any problems that they encounter

Is there a PG Recover app for the Vista version? Because as it stands right now, the driver is stuck on my system, cannot remove it, and I cannot reload PG. >_>

It runs, however, it stalls in the systray and refuses to go any further. Mkay, ending the process results in a broken app, completely unusable.

-edit-

Got it up and running, UDP is being blocked properly, as well as TCP. Lists updated properly.

My issue now, is that blocking http remains in effect, even though that option is disabled. I'll provide as much detailed feedback as I possibly can, because from being a Vista tester since the beginning, I know this OS is a bitch to work with.

Tweaked like crazy, but I was able to fix the http only thing in my app, I was also able to fix the stuck driver. Deleted the p2p block lists and that seemed to do it.

Joined the forum to let people know of the error i have been getting. Installed fine and updated lists fine, but when i use it for any longer than about 7-8 minutes it doesnt respond (Not Responding) so i must exit out of it and end the process. When i go back into it i recieve the error :
"Peerguardian is unable to load the packet filtering driver. This could happen if peerguardian crashed, and didnt have a chance to unload the driver, or if the file pgfilter.sys cant be found.

Class win32_error.
The data area passed to a system call is too small"

Im using vista home premium and firefox 2.0.0.4, and it seems to happen when i permanently allow an ip that is being blocked and try to enter the site too quickly or multiple times at once. Then after it seems i am not able to surf the internet at all in both firefox and IE7. A restart solves this, but the error continues to pop up. Anyone have any suggestions? or have seen this error or can reproduce it? are there any vista services i should make sure to have not disabled for this to work?

This is very strange, i disabled the educational blocklist and it began working fine, so i then reenabled it and its continuing to work fine... no errors so far but i will continue to update you on this..

To get it running on Vista I uninstalled the 9x version, then deleted all the files in the PG folder. Then I installed RC1-test and rebooted. After that it was up and running (looks good so far!). I updated the p2p blocklist with no problem as well.

Oh, I also checked out the HTTP blocking problem that Hiroshi had and it didn't occure on my system. Probaly because I already deleted the old lists before I installed RC1-test.
