This has been addressed on the RC1 page:

...Unfortunately, the certificate to perform this signing costs from $300-$500 USD/year. Until Phoenix Labs is able to afford one, Vista x64 users will need to perform the following steps...

Donations to PL (for just this thing) are always welcome!!

The allow IPs for 15 mins is also broken. Usually PG2 will freeze or not respond for me.

Re: PeerGuadian 2 for Windows Vista beta released
Howdy. I went and registered (very easy, by the way, I like) and will probably only ever post in this thread, but what the hell, gonna give some feedback where I can.
Running Vista x64 Ultimate, followed the 64 bit install directions and installation went just fine. Loaded it up, updated all my lists, all was well.
As with the older PG versions, it blocked all my Xfire IPs and Ports, so I went through and permanently allowed all of them. Somewhere in the process of that, the program locked up (Not Responding), and I had to kill the process.
From that point on I could not get it to load properly. It showed in the task manager and that was about it, no tray, nothing popped up, just a quick hourglass and nothin'. Now, I see people saying it doesn't show in the systray sometimes, and that very well could have been the issue.
Went in and deleted the lists (except my allowed list), and tried again and it loaded up fine. Seem to have all my Xfire ports taken care of now, and haven't had any more problems with it. But I've only had it now for like 10 minutes, so, who knows. I'll keep you guys posted if I run into anything else.
Either way, thanks a ton for all your work on it. PG was one of the things I missed most when I made the Vista upgrade, it's nice to have it back :) Next time I have some $, you guys just might get a donation.
