It runs, however, it stalls in the systray and refuses to go any further. Mkay, ending the process results in a broken app, completely unusable.

-edit-

Got it up and running, UDP is being blocked properly, as well as TCP. Lists updated properly.

My issue now, is that blocking http remains in effect, even though that option is disabled. I'll provide as much detailed feedback as I possibly can, because from being a Vista tester since the beginning, I know this OS is a bitch to work with.

Tweaked like crazy, but I was able to fix the http only thing in my app, I was also able to fix the stuck driver. Deleted the p2p block lists and that seemed to do it.

to fix your issue reboot i had the same problem and rebooting it she only fix recover pg2 fix wont fix it. just try a reboot

I had the same issues as pguser and Hiroshi and pretty much gave up using it on vista!

But then I did what RazorZero suggested and rebooted BEFORE running PG2 and it works perfectly now!

I am sure like everyone else here I hate rebooting but in this case it is required or it will most likely not work it seems!

And I want to add that it only worked when I rebooted BEFORE I ran it - when I ran it and it crashed and then I rebooted it still didn't work! So reboot BEFORE you run it!

Thanks for the tip RZ!

DO NOT use any of the bluetack lists as they made PG2 crash everytime on Vista for me - so my advice stick to the standard lists!

Alright I noticed when I was torrenting i wasn't getting many non http TCP blocks. Me and supra have been testing different ips to see what was happening. The only black non http blocks I was getting were ICMP. I tested a BayTSP ip from blocklist.org and it blocked in the console (start/run/cmd/ping 0.0.0.0, for example). But it didn't show in PG2. Its good to know that PG2 is blocking them but just not showing them it appears. I was almost worried there.

Btw I'm using XP.

I had previously had version 6c and installed RC1 over it. It was working fine until 10 minutes ago. I had PG2 stall on me and I closed it and hit recover pg. it recovered it and when i went to restart it would not let me so i removed PG2 and installed RC1 over. Now there is no recover PG option in Program files/pg2/ and I also got this pop up window:

Ok thank you Cory. I will go back to Beta 6c and wait for the fix.

lol

try this to get rid of that error.

remove any files you may have used on the RC1 download.

lets start fresh.

download and old build like the 6b version here and then run the setup and get the lists you may want setup. then run PG2 and in the options area, make sure the old build of Pg2 is not setup to startup with windows because we dont want it to startup with windows.

then reboot your PC, when you reboot you PC. pg2 will not start with windows.

Make sure you download the RC1 build and replace the files in the 7z zip file with the old files and then run pg2 and it should work.

if it does not work. then please wait for Cory's update.
