Default Being re-developed?

I never used it before, what can we expect from that new release and do you have an approx. ETA for its release?

Last I heard, D3F was looking into re-developing XS.

Though, he's got a full plate :( Also working on DeepDelete, and of course, this site/forums :)

yea,it was to be worked on again, but then it got put in the back seat, and then this happened so now its probably out the window for now.

I'm going to get a new DD out, then I'll have a chat with d3f and others about a replacement or new XS.

If I do end up rebuilding XS... I'll probably use SocketWrench so we can get some decent transfer speeds. (the old transfer speeds sucked) ;)

I only ever got as far as basic server implemntation in C that supported some very basic socket peering multi-downloads.

Right not its on the back burner though, one thing me and method have to find is middle ground for coding, im not sure what hes planning on using for development as for where I would prefer to use C++ or C#

Yeah... totally... gonna leave veebee in the dirt soon. ;)

So for a rebuild.. I'd be up for a C version... though I'll have to learn as I go along!!

Its pretty quick to learn, just rip yourself threw a basic tut do some quick win32 api and then phrosty I belive has a link to an awesome tut on network programming.
