Default XS Details...

After doing some research online, details about running an XS hub are still sketchy... I run a WASTE server, but want to get rid of it because of it's quite frankly awful GUI and annoying difficulty to help someone not as able with a computerto set up the client. I stuck with it because people were using it and I knew of no alternatives, but then I found this...

Anyways, the main reason for the post is to ask if all downloads are routed through the hub. On WASTE (sorry to keep going back to it!) if user x was downloading from user y, their download would be routed through the server, even though the program should make a direct connection to the other user when downloading.

This is very important to me as it was becoming expensive on the bandwidth charges, as it is always over 30GB/mo transfers when combined with my HTTP usage. And if XS doesn't make direct connections, could I make that a feature request?

Sorry if I did this wrong, first post on the board, don't know the rules etc. Correct me if I'm wrong. Thankyou for your help!

Yes, the clients have direct transfers. They can also have passive(if they are behind a router/firewall), but i am not sure if they go through the hub, but i don't think they do(since you cant have passive to passive transfers).

xs pr54 is out, someone needs to replace the links soon. b/c xs hubs now only accept the new client version.
