Hello!

I've been using PeerGuardian 2 for a few weeks without any major problems, but it seems my luck has run out tonight.
I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it, but I mis-hit and ended the pg2.exe process earlier. When I re-opened PG, I decided to update my lists, but it gave me the "Error Contacting URL" on every one of them except for the PeerGuardian Update, which said "None Available" (not unusual for that one).
So far I've tried deleting the Lists folder, uninstalling PG2 and reinstalling, uninstalling again and deleting the folder and reinstalling again, and glaring evilly at the Update window in hopes that it would give in. Obviously none of those things has worked, so ... here I am.
Any help would be appreciated. :)

I got the "Error Contacting URL" this AM when my lists tried to update. I can't even reach bluetack's website this morning, so I guess there maybe something going on there to prevent our lists from updating. Says "The connection was refused (which is strange) when attempting to contact www.bluetack.co.uk". So, you might want to make sure you can reach their website. If not, then I guess it's an error on bluetack's part.

I can't connect to Bluetack either. I got some kind of SQL error a couple minutes ago. This started yesterday for me when Firefox couldn't connect to page. I can't update Bluetacks Hosts manager. I was thinking something was up with my internet and it was being blocked (there were some other sites I used to visit but I am unable to now which got me thinking that way). Maybe bluetack is having some issues?

i cant laod BlueTack either.

Now, when I try to reach the bluetack website, It alternates between the SQL error and the connection refused error. My lists did update, though, a little while ago. So...I don't know, something's up there!

i agree something is up. still nothing.just be patient and wait.

Thanks for the replies! The whole patience and waiting thing worked out in the end. A couple of tries throughout the day finally resulted in all of my lists being updated.

I still can't reach Bluetack's website as of this morning. So, I guess if we are patient, It will be back soon.

The same problem has happened to me, I cant update a few of my lists, due to Error Contacting URL, and its been like this all day. This is between a few of the phoenix labs and bluetack blocklists, most work, but between the two sites, a few apparently are completely not responding, causing the error.
