Default Trident Mediaguard

First off, thanks for a great program.

Who the heck is Trident Mediaguard? They have been hitting me every 30 seconds for 2 days now. I haven't d/l anything from a torrent site for 2 days and my client has been turned off. Will they ever give up?

Just wondering who they are.

Thanks,
-Jim

I am willing to bet you use azarous? or vuze its called now???

because I was looking at my PG2 logs, and noticed millions of hits from them.

so I decided to terminate my dowloads one by one to see which one was helping big dady.
I ended up removing all my files, and it was still smashing PG, so I stopped vuze.exe, and it stopped immediatly, Vuze has snuk some code into the vuze program, they are now helping this anti piracy group, so I uninstalled immedatly and when onto U tor
and havent got a hit from them since. check ur PG2, and watch the hits roll in 200 in 30 seconds, it floods the program almost crashing it. and terminate vuze.exe and it stops. bottom line is they are in bed with the bad guys, and you need to unnistall people

Thumbs up Re: Trident Mediaguard

To the previous poster, I am running Utorrent, and I am not sure you followed the right steps in what you tried to do. I could be wrong, but until you ipconfig /release your IP your PC will continue to be asked for information regardless of whether you have a p2p app open or not.

I suggest stopping all your DLs/ULs/ applications in your P2P app, ALL OF THEM, then release your IP, then start one at a time with say a 1 minute pause between starting the next one to give it time to connect. To me this makes better sense from what I have read in other posts.
